This great article was derived from the Cross Ram Show at the 2006 Camaro Nationals at Carlisle. 

    RFG and Guinn's vision for the 2006 Nationals was to create a Cross Ram Show/Seminar that included the finest examples of Cross Ram equipped Camaros and individual Cross Ram components in existence. The seminars (two) included Cross Ram history (Prototype  through Reproduction) and delivered extensive information related to 302 Cross Ram engine building. The seminars were given by Ex-Chevrolet Engineer Jerry Thompson and Wayne D. Guinn. Jerry is attributed as being the "Father" of the Cross Ram.

    Many of the examples on display were extremely rare with notable Chevrolet Engineering and Trans-Am race history. The intent of the show/seminar was to present accurate and authoritive information to both enthusiast and Camaro Show Judges in effort to provide the requisite knowledge and tools necessary to make informed purchases and critical decisions related to these high interest components.
