1966 Triumph 650 Reverse Head  (Below are the composite Images created below during the concept phase)

  Actual bike in-progress below:

Although it shows it's age and certainly needs to be re-chromed, I decided to go with the Indian Larry Stretched (12 inches) and twisted front leg Harley BT Springer I owned since the early seventies. With the passing of Larry, it just seemed like a great way to commemorate his life and accomplishments. Beyond that, it's simply a perfectly executed piece and you can't help like the classic look. A stock HD Springer brake and 21 inch Star Hub Wheel is used with a Barnett Stainless brake cable. Risers are 8 inch rise with an additional inch removed. The Bars have a 6 inch rise just the right pull back that puts my arms in a natural position when my hands are on the grips.

Repositioning the head 180 degrees is a fairly simple re-engineering exercise that gets the carbs in the wind and the pipes out the back and best of all - baffles everyone with a HUGE visual effect. Note the timing gears below 'cause that's where the change really occurs.

Building the Custom Pipes

We used 1.75 inch 304L Stainless Steel Tubes that were pre-formed into compound mandrill bends. (Ask about our current supply)

Sweeping bends pick-up on frame angles and compliment the basic lines of the bike. Note how kick-out flows with the top bends.

Slight up-sweep behind the head fills the void and makes for a powerful exhaust presence
Top pipe will terminate at the same point as the lower pipe. The kick-out is trick and should display a nice blue flame on occasion.

  • THE FRONT END - '41 Indian Girder

Superbly executed '41 Scout 741/640 Customized Girder Fork -  This leg was extended 9" over stock for a perfect stance. Seamless welds. Leg is traditionally painted black with all other parts shaved and chrome plated. Original bars have been altered to accept dog bone risers. Built in the early sixties in traditional old school style with quality craftsmanship. I like to set these up using the old chopper/racer wheel of choice. 21" Honda ST unit with a Avon Ribbed Speedmaster MK II tire. The Honda wheel gives you the cool look of an open spool but has a small ribbed Aluminum Brake drum that's a real performer and it polishes up Super (Click on link for other girders for sale).

Special Feature(s): Special DID Rim with deeper dropped center (Racers Favorite) One of the 70's Chopper Builders favorites because of the 21" tire.   CHOPPER WHEELS ARE OUR SPECIALTY since 1969

Simply one of the the cleanest renditions that combines two of the of the most effective tank customizing techniques of all time.  This late model "Sporty" has been dished on the sides lending  perfectly executed  complementary lines and symmetry and also has a  lightning strike or 'Spine" applied to the top. NICE!!! Check-out the DENTED website
