Superbly executed '41 Scout 741/640 Customized Girder Fork -  This leg was extended 9" over stock for a perfect stance. Seamless welds. Leg is traditionally painted black with all other parts shaved and chrome plated. Original bars have been altered to accept dog bone risers. Built in the early sixties in traditional old school style with quality craftsmanship. I like to set these up using the old chopper/racer wheel of choice. 21" Honda ST unit with a Avon Ribbed Speedmaster MK II tire. The Honda wheel gives you the cool look of an open spool but has a small ribbed Aluminum Brake drum that's a real performer and it polishes up Super (See link). (See below for complete roller info)

  • 66 Triumph frame with good title
  • Long style new old stock Santee Bolt-on hardtail section welded-on and molded-in
  • Neck raked with slight stretch and extension ending up at a 40 degree angle (Study it carefully, it's unique)
  • Frame is smoothed and gusseted in rear to match girdered look in the front
  • Custom Seat pan
  • '41 Indian Girder originally stretched 9" in the '60's (over $400 in chrome $300 in paint plus org purchase)
  • 21" Small Hub show Wheel with new Avon Speedmaster ribbed tire (just added)
  • 16" rear Deep Dropped Center Rim laced to Chromed Triumph hub with new Speedmaster Mk II tire (just added)
Additions since photos were taken:
  • Custom Rear strut-less fender (real nice look using custom made flat fender, follows the wheel lines perfectly - No Gaps)
  • Custom aluminum diamond plate wrap around Oil Tank (large capacity - no others like it)
  • Custom leather seat (Premium leather and custom made pan)
This frame has many many hours into it which are evident in the perfect symmetry of the lines resulting from the careful planning and engineering. I guarantee this to be fast, durable and a delight to ride. The handling characteristics and safety were the first order. It just came out a show winner as a coincidence!!!! (NOT)
