1969 Camaro SS-396

Randall Klien from Lincoln Nebraska built this ZL1 transplant '69 Camaro to run in the Stock Eliminator classes. The Ex-Lothar Motschenbacher TRACO prepped ZL1 engine was reportedly obtained through Grossman Chevrolet.

The original factory build was as follows:

  • VIN 124379N597580
  • Norwood built - Second week in February
  • X22 - Style Trim Group with SS396 (originally Z22 Rally Sport)
  • Frost Green / Black Vinyl Top
  • Black Custom Interior

Left: Flawless execution makes this one of the finest and most potent surviving Camaro drag race cars today today.  Right: Stock Eliminator Class prepared  interior is like new.

Roll cage appears completely unobtrusive and once again, the finish details make all the difference.
Original custom interior was replaced for weight savings.
The 600 Plus HP TRACO prepped ZL1 transplant is perfectly fitted and race ready.
