Guinn's Teams up with Rick's First Generation at the

Camaro Nationals - June 23-25, 2006

Guinn's Engineering and Rick's First Generation Camaro teamed up under Rick's massive tent. Rick put together one of the most amazing Camaro displays of all time. One of the highlights was the 1969 RFG / GE Prototype ZL1 shown above with the Guinn's Girl.

  • The history of this engine is exceptionally rich with a trail that begins inside Chevrolet engineering and extends out to to the most famous engine builders in the United States (TRACO). After the engine left TRACO  it went onto compete in the the most competitive race series of the time - the Can Am. It was campaigned by Lothar Motschenbacher in the famous #11 Mclaren M8B.
Enthusiasts were amazed at the huge array of Cross Ram equipped Camaros. Never before have as many Cross Ram cars been assembled in one place at one time. 1968 and 1969 cars were represented and they hailed from all over the country.  Enjoy the Photos!
